Tyvek® 1622 43gsm 1530x20m Roll Tyvek® is thermally bonded, polyethylene fibre sheeting renown for it's archival applications and exceptionally high shear strength. It has a paper like feel but is stronger than paper and will stretch up to 15-25% before breaking. Tyvek® is chemically neutral, lightweight and resistant to moisture and chemicals. It is unaffected by water and therefore dimensionally stable in humid situations. Tyvek® 1622 comes in a natural white colour, is soft, flexible and micro-perforated. It can be used to seal the back of a frame with double sided tape, sewn like fabric or bonded using criss-cross heating sealers.
