Archivart Glassine Paper 1524mm x 91m Roll This acid-free, unbuffered glassine paper is made from selected chemical pulp, for general conservation use. Transparency of the paper is obtained in a special manufacturing process that uses no salts, additives or chemical surface treatment. pH Value • 6.8 to 7.5 at the time of manufacture. Since the paper is not buffered, a drop in pH value is to be expected when exposed to normal atmospheric conditions Applications • Interleaving and wrapping in the conservation of paper and textiles • Overlay in painting restoration • Protective wrapping in preparation of works of art for shipment
