Designed for use in a Hot Vacuum Press or Heated Rollers with Pressure - when provided with adequate dwell time, temperature and pressure, the laminating film will enhances the color saturation and contrast of the image. Available in a variety of finishes, Artsheild™ is alternative to liquid varnish for digitally printed canvas, making it quick and clean to apply, while also revealing the rich depth of the canvas texture. The laminate process also offers protection from cracking and exposure to moisture, while making the canvas safe and easy to handle and clean. The UV stabilized thermal overlay also provides added UV protection to the inks in the underlying image, ensuring it remains as striking and beautiful as the day it was first printed. Tip: It is important that a foam overlay blanket be used when laminating to ensure a consistent, blemish-free finish.
